What does dreaming bigger mean to you? For me, it has not been on the radar of my thinking awareness. Many people have lost their dreams, but I never had them to start with. It’s not that I thought small; okay, maybe I did. I grew up in a lower middle-class family in the valley South of the San Francisco bay in California. This valley later became known as Silicon Valley. My family did not travel a lot, only to visit relatives in Southern California or nearby towns; so I did not know much about the rest of the United States and the way it looked. I never wanted for much since my family had very large Christmases for just my sister and me. Most of my young wishes were granted!
The only thing I wanted and never received was a horse. We lived in a suburban neighborhood and not only was having a horse impractical, it was too expensive. I was able to attend “horse camp” for two weeks in central California when I was ten years old, and it satisfied the want. Mucking out stalls can bring home the reality of owning a horse!! I never really wanted to travel, as the weather where I lived was pretty perfect back then. I ended up not attending college right after High School, and started working during my Senior year. Never did I think I would ever go to college, but life has a way of surprising me!
Rediscovering dreams
Having worked ever since High School until 2020 when the world turned upside down, there was not much time to dream. Working and sleeping took most of my time. In 2018, on my birthday in July, I joined an online community. The people in this group are “dreaming bigger” people and helped open my mind to MORE. More of the world’s treasures and services should be available to everyone on the planet! This is a type of Utopia environment everyone should be a part of. I have been growing while learning ever since I joined this group.
I have also been reading more books lately to help me learn to dream again. One such book was mind-opening! It was “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Ecker. Being stifled in a J.O.B. (just over broke) for most of my life squashed my dreaming ability without my realizing it was happening. For example, I did not have college as a dream, but recently received my Associate degree after seven years of online school attendance.
Achieving this during the first year while working full time was a killer. I got very little sleep and ended up sick for a month; a doctor gave me super antibiotics and I didn’t get sick again for a few years! I backed off after that semester and only took one class at a time so I could keep up AND sleep.
Sleep is the ultimate healer; if you don’t get enough your body and mind will start breaking down. If you are having problems sleeping I would highly recommend this.
Dreaming Bigger: Okay, here are my new dreams:
- To have more than enough money to travel wherever, whenever, and with whomever I choose.
- To enjoy time freedom.
- To be able to spend time with my relatives and friends any time.
- To be able to help anyone I wish in magnificent ways.
- To live wherever I want and be fluid with any plans I have (for travel!).
- To visit many temples of the earth and broaden my horizons further.
- To have an unlimited mind that is open to new ideas and possibilities permanently.
I’m sure I will come up with more dreams as I continue on this wonderful journey that we call life. Having an open mind helps with just about every situation and I highly recommend it. Recently, I had dinner in a vineyard in Napa, California and it was beautiful! I was able to visit with many friends and it was a lovely time. Watching the sunset and people stomping grapes is an experience I will not soon forget. Luckily, it was my first of annual visits so I’m looking forward to next year! If you would like to live out that dream with me, you can! Just check out this page for more information.
Opportunities that help with Dreaming Bigger
There is a new (to me) opportunity that I must share. It is a membership site but will more than pay you back in huge discounts and savings on things you already spend money on. Visit this link to find out more. Many people are now saving hundreds or even thousands of dollars! Additionally, earning income with this site is easy too. Just share and earn to help your dreams become reality!
I recommend reading books and finding a great mentor to help if you are stuck and do not know how to dream anymore. Another way to open your mind is something that really helped me: supplements. I have been a supporter of supplementation for a very long time. The one with the link above really helped me since I suffer from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). I have noticed better focus and improved mood and many other nuances. I hope you found something in this page that will help you expand your horizons and live a better life. You deserve it!!
